He has been working with government and international organizations in South Sudan in various capacities such as Secondary School Teacher, Education Advisor, Education Program Manager, Program Unit Manager, Country Program Director and Country Director for a total value of 20 years.
Jackson Okello a South Sudanese 47 years old and a teacher by profession. He has spent 8 years of a classroom teaching and learning. Jackson has worked for Africa Educational Trust in collaboration with Secretariat of Education and the South Sudan Ministry of General Education and Instruction for 21 years. He brings in 21 years of experience in Managing Education and Training in most complex, post conflict, conflict affected, emergency and development context in South Sudan. Currently working as a Program Director at Help Education South Sudan and a board Vice Chair for the National Education Coalition.
In the capacity as an Education Expert Jackson has worked to delivered Education project in South Sudan and has always been consulted on issues of Education programming and planning.
